The Town of South Congaree complies with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), and has partnered and adopted Lexington County's StormWater Ordinance. The Town of South Congaree has an intergovernmental agreement with Lexington County to implement the Construction and Post Construction minimum control measures on our behalf. The Town of South Congaree, the other MS4s, and the County also have an agreement with the Clemson Extention to assist us with the Public Education and Public Involvement Minimum Control Measures.
